Who We Are
Wyan Bowman, owner of Prairie Winds Woodworking, has been working with wood since he was nine years old, starting with hand tools and a strong sense of creativity. As a young adult, he became a cabinet maker and eventually expanded into general home construction—building everything from framing to finish. That deep, hands-on experience guides everything we do at Prairie Winds.
We aren’t salesmen—we’re designers and builders. Straightforward, honest, and meticulous. We don’t believe in cutting corners, and we never use melamine or particle board. Only real wood. Only the best techniques. Our philosophy is simple: If you can dream it, we can build it.
Out-of-the-box design challenges don’t scare us—they excite us. We believe nothing is impossible. If you want a one-of-a-kind kitchen island, a staircase that wows, or doorways that make a statement, we’re ready to make it happen.
